Its been a while since I journaled. Things are good for me. Could be better. Money is a little tight, but who doesn't have issues these days? Just wanted to let everyone know i'm still alive, and here.

Ok. So I'm not usually one for random acts of kindness, but this just pulled my heartstrings, as I can relate to the very same situation.

You see, I just got new neighbors. They moved in today with nothing but the clothes on their backs for the most part. They had to leave anything they couldn't fit in their one suitcase behind when they were evicted from their last apartment. They barely have enough food for the week. There are both on disability and she is pregnant. They have to make what they have last until they get their disability checks from the government on the 3rd of May. Here is the problem. I really want to help them, but me and my fiancee are also on disability, so we don't have a spare anything to give. I've tried to do what I can, I had them over for dinner, so they could save what little food they had at home, and I gave her some spare clothes I had that didn't fit me anymore. I even watched the dumpster like a hawk ALL day, to make sure they got first dibs at any furniture that got thrown out. We found them a mattress! But I know it won't be enough, and having been in that situation before myself, I thought of you all. You all have huge hearts, that you're often willing to share. Also, I got a new hamster. He's a Winter White Russian Dwarf Hamster. Yaaaay! I named him Totoro.
I'm sure I will add some photos of him and Rhino as soon as I manage to socialize him so he'll tolerate being picked up. He's very skiddish right now, the poor little fellow must have had a rough time at the pet store.

Have to go finish my grocery shopping soon, I've been putting it off because I'm quitting smoking again and I feel like shit all the time. It's like having a really bad cold and allergies all at the same time. At least I only have to go food shopping once a month thanks to my local bulk food warehouse. I'm such a freezer queen. I buy everything in bulk and freeze anything freezable.

Is anyone familiar with the Sony Cybershot? DSC-T9? Its a 6 megapixel camera. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the settings. You see. I'm needing to take photos of a very small animal. (Dwarf Hamster)The problem is, in order to get close enough to him to take a good picture, it ends up blurry. Is there some way I can improve the clarity of these photos? Any tips or pointers would be super appreciated!
